Questions for you.
Regardless of your age or stage in life…Do you desire to expand your influence, to reach more people, to have more impact, to build a a team, or to make a significant difference in the lives of others?
If so, you MUST spread your wings. You must go beyond that which you believe is possible. Otherwise, you cannot expand your sphere of influence.
And once you make that decision, the next step is to harness your strengths. We hear it all the time…Lead from your Strengths. But to do that, you must know your strengths. Many people don’t. They try to lead by mimicking how other people lead. But that leadership style only works IF you have similar strengths to those other leaders. If you don’t, you will be trying to lead from outside your natural strengths…and…you will fail!
So, first…you must decide to spread your wings. Next you need to know your strengths and harness them.
And finally, you must care for and about those that you seek to influence. When people feel that you care, they will naturally follow your lead. They will be loyal to your cause. They will be influenced by your message. They will be connected to you in a way that is only possible because they know that you care.
It is there that you can both influence and then empower them to spread their wings and do the same for those in their circle of influence. And so on, and so on, and so on…….
So today, my friends, I encourage you to spread your wings, harness your strengths, and care for others as you seek to expand your influence. You will be glad you did!
