Question for you? What’s your summit? What’s a goal that you have? What’s the big picture accomplishment that you are working towards? What’s your purpose? It doesn’t matter how big or small it is. It doesn’t matter if it’s the same or different than other people’s. It doesn’t matter if no one believes in it other than you.

What matters is if you are able to continue to focus on it. We are so often distracted along the way. What once seemed exciting and inspiring may become too lofty and unachievable if we allow ourselves to be distracted away from our summit…away from our goal….away from our purpose.

So today, I encourage you to pause and reflect on your summit….your mountaintop goal….your singular purpose. Remember how and when that became made known to you. Remember the determination with which you began to climb toward it. And be intentional about maintaining your focus on it, even given distraction. It’s an often slow and steady climb, but as along as you keep your sights on the summit and put one foot in front of the other, you will get there!
